Law Enforcement Requests
Where to send requests
Email: legal@faithfulmatch.love. Requests should be sent from an official government email address and include the requesting agency, the officer’s name and badge or ID number, the legal authority relied upon, and the specific account identifier(s) (email address on the account, or the display name and approximate location).
What we require
- Basic subscriber information (name, email, account creation date, last sign-in) — a valid subpoena or equivalent.
- Non-content records (login timestamps, IP addresses) — a court order under 18 U.S.C. § 2703(d) or equivalent.
- Content (messages, photos, profile text) — a search warrant issued on probable cause, or equivalent.
Requests from outside the United States must proceed through a Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty or letters rogatory unless an applicable exception applies.
Emergency disclosure
Where we believe in good faith that there is an imminent risk of death or serious physical injury to any person, we may disclose information without legal process. Mark the subject line EMERGENCY and describe the nature of the emergency and why disclosure is necessary to prevent it.
Preservation requests
On receipt of a valid preservation request under 18 U.S.C. § 2703(f), we will preserve the specified records for 90 days, renewable once.
User notice
We notify affected users of requests for their information before disclosure unless we are legally prohibited from doing so or the request concerns an emergency, child exploitation, or would risk harm to a person.
Child safety
Suspected child sexual exploitation is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) as required by 18 U.S.C. § 2258A.
Trafficking and exploitation
We prohibit human trafficking, sexual exploitation, and commercial sexual activity under our Acceptable Use Policy, terminate offending accounts, and cooperate with law enforcement investigations into such conduct.
