Privacy Policy

FaithfulMatch is a service of Excellent Vision Real Estate, LLC ("we", "us", "our"), the legal operator of the FaithfulMatch app and website. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. FaithfulMatch is intended for users 18 years of age and older.

1. Information we collect

When you create and use a FaithfulMatch account, we may collect:

Name, email address, and account credentials
Birth date and age
Gender
Dating and matching preferences
Christian faith information, including denomination, faith level, church involvement, and marriage intent
Spiritual interests and values you choose to share on your profile
Profile biography text you write
Profile photographs you upload
Approximate location, used to show distance between members
Precise device location, only if and when you separately grant location permission for a feature that requires it — see Section 3 for how location is actually used today
Likes, passes, matches, and other interaction activity within the app
Private messages you send and receive, and related message metadata (timestamps, delivery status)
Reports you submit, and records of accounts you block or that block you
Device identifiers, IP address, and application/error logs
Analytics data about how you use the app
Crash and diagnostic information
Subscription and purchase information (for example, whether you have an active Premium subscription)
Push notification tokens, used to deliver notifications to your device
Camera access, when you choose to take a profile photo directly in the app
Photo library access, when you choose to upload an existing photo

2. AI-assisted features

FaithfulMatch offers optional AI-assisted features, including conversation reply suggestions and profile/photo feedback. When you use these features, the relevant content (such as a conversation excerpt, your profile bio, or a photo) may be transmitted to a third-party AI provider in order to generate a suggestion. You always choose whether to use or send any AI-generated suggestion — the AI does not send messages on your behalf.

AI features are processed by one or more of the following providers, depending on our configuration at the time: Groq, OpenAI, or Google (Gemini). Only the content needed to generate the specific suggestion is sent, and we do not permit these providers to use your content to train their models.

3. Location information

FaithfulMatch uses your approximate location to show other members roughly how far away you are (for example, "5 miles away") and to apply distance-based filtering to who you see in discovery. We do not display your precise location to other users. If precise location is ever collected for a specific feature, we will update this section to describe that collection accurately before the feature is released.

5. How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share information with the following categories of service providers, strictly to operate the app:

Payment processing: Stripe, to process subscription payments and manage billing
AI providers: for optional AI-assisted conversation and profile-review features, as described in Section 2
Analytics: Google Analytics (GA4), to understand app usage
Authentication: Facebook Login (Meta), if you choose to sign in with Facebook
Hosting and infrastructure: our application hosting and database providers

Our service providers: Stripe (payments and billing); Groq, OpenAI, and/or Google Gemini (AI features); Google Analytics (usage analytics); Google Firebase (push notifications, crash reporting, analytics); Meta/Facebook (optional sign-in only); Hostinger (application hosting, database, and transactional email); Cloudflare R2 (photo storage). Each acts on our instructions under a data-processing agreement and may not use your data for its own purposes.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets, in which case user information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy or a successor policy.

6. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active, and for a limited period afterward as needed for fraud prevention, legal compliance, payment records, dispute resolution, or safety investigations. Specifically: when you delete your account, your profile, photos, messages, and matches are deleted or anonymized within 30 days; payment and subscription records are kept for 7 years as required for tax and accounting; safety reports and moderation records are kept for up to 2 years to prevent banned users returning; server and security logs are kept for 90 days.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. International processing

Your information may be processed in countries other than the one in which you reside, including the United States, where our service providers operate.

9. Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. You can delete your account at any time — see our Account Deletion page for instructions. To exercise any other privacy right, contact us at support@faithfulmatch.love.

10. California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under California privacy law, including the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to request deletion. Contact us using the information below to exercise these rights.

11. Children's privacy

FaithfulMatch is restricted to users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from someone under 18, we will take steps to delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by other reasonable means.
